Pure beeswax tapers decorated with mature, flowering mugwort. Mugwort is said to grow by the door of every witch. This is probably true because it does in fact grow everywhere, but witches tend to have a better understanding of its value than the average person. Mugwort is an ally for dream work, maybe via its camphorous aromatic oils. In the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine, mugwort is processed into moxa and burned near certain acupuncture spots on the body to increase circulation and promote a balanced flow of Qi. Mugwort is also great for making bitters, is a close cousin to the primary herbal constituent of absinthe, and is commonly found in Japanese cuisine and confections like yomogi mochi. Mugwort is reviled by gardeners due to its aggressive/invasive growing patterns.. But I (Unison) have a soft spot for it.
